Previously, user permissions for voucher types might not have been considered cost centers. This could lead to scenarios where users could access vouchers associated with any cost center, regardless of their designated roles.
Introducing Cost Center Permissions:
RealBooks now empowers you to define granular user access for voucher types by incorporating a new Cost Center tab within Voucher Type Masters. This feature allows you to specify which cost centers a user can access for each voucher type, following either an “Accept All, Deny Rest” or “Restrict All, Accept” approach. This enhances security and control by ensuring users can only create and edit vouchers associated with cost centers relevant to their responsibilities, and fosters improved accountability by associating user actions with specific cost centers within voucher types.
