A Sale Summary is a report that summarizes the sale for a specified date range either based on an item group or party.
To View the Sale Summary Report
Go to Reports⇒ Inventory⇒ Sales Cycle⇒ Sale Summary
A Sale Summary page will open. By default, the report variation page is set to Item-wise Monthly Summary. This variation of the Sales Summary helps the user to view the item-wise monthly sales summary for the specified date range.
1. Ledger Group Search– This search box helps to search “ALL” the ledger groups at once or a particular ledger group.
2. Item Group Search – This search box helps to search “ALL” the item groups at once or a particular ledger group.
3. From date & To date– Set the date range for which the Report data needs to be searched.
4. Export icon – To export the data select the appropriate template from the EXPORT dropdown list.
Click on the Search option and all the data will be shown.
To View the Sales Register Report for a Particular Entry
Select the Particular row.
Press ENTER or Click on the settings icon.
Sales Register- Item Wise Report will open for that particular item row.
To access the report in a different format, click on the STANDARD option. This consists of 2 dropdowns.
Standard – This option displays the report in a block format. Here the Items are grouped in a block as per the Months.
Column – This option displays the report in a columnar format. Here items are displayed In the row, and the months are displayed in the column, so there is no repetition of the item. Each item in the report is listed once, and its month-wise value is listed under each month’s column.
To access different types of Reports under Sale Summary Report (namely report variation) click on the Item-wise Monthly Summary option on the left-hand side of the page.
1. ITEM GROUP WISE MONTHLY SUMMARY
This variation of Sale Summary helps the user view the monthly sales summary of all items pertaining to the specific item groups for the specified date range.
2. ITEM WISE SUMMARY
This variation of the Sale Summary Report helps the user to view item-wise sales details for the specified period of time.
3. PARTY WISE MONTHLY SUMMARY
This variation of the Sale Summary helps the user to view the party-wise monthly sales summary for the specified date range. Here the party-wise values are displayed as per the month blocks.
4. PARTY WISE SUMMARY
This variation of Sale Summary helps the user to view the party-wise sales summary for the specified date range.
5. SALESMAN WISE
This variation of the Sales Summary Report helps the user to view the item-wise monthly sales summary along with the respective salesmen’s names for the specified date range.
